Anti-Corruption Statement

Our Commitment

Abrar Communications Co. does not engage in, nor tolerate, corruption within its business dealings, either domestically or abroad, as evidenced in our internal Code of Conduct. If at any time we detect or become aware of a violation of this code among our personnel, we will take immediate and decisive action to correct these behaviors or terminate the non-compliant employee(s).

What is Corruption?

For the type of business we engage in, corruption is considered participating in bribery, kickbacks, or any unethical inducements.

  • Bribery: The act of giving money, goods, or other forms of compensation in exchange for an alteration of the recipient’s behavior (to the benefit of the giver) that the recipient would otherwise not alter.
  • Kickback: A form of negotiated bribery in which a commission is paid to the bribe-taker in exchange for services rendered.

Saudi Arabia enforces strict anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws, most notably the Combating Bribery Law (Royal Decree M/36 of 1992). Oversight is carried out by the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha), which investigates and prosecutes corruption cases at all levels.

Our Approach

At Abrar Communications Co., we maintain zero tolerance toward bribery, kickbacks, or corrupt practices of any kind. Our employees are trained in our Code of Conduct and held accountable for their actions. This training includes a focus on:

  • Prohibition of giving, offering, or promising anything of value, directly or indirectly, to any public official, political party, candidate, or private entity, with corrupt intent.
  • Adherence to both Saudi anti-corruption regulations and international best practices.
  • Flowing down compliance obligations to our distributors, contractors, and business partners through contractual clauses and annual training.

Violations of this policy will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination, reporting to authorities, and possible criminal liability in accordance with Saudi law.
